If you want to offer gift-wrapping service on your website then FME’s Gift Wrapping Magento Module offers basic as well as advance features that you may need. You can add unlimited gift box designs from the backend with price and label. By clicking on the gift icon on cart page, a popup window will open up from where customers can personalize their gifts in three simple steps as below:
- Select wrapping paper
- Choose a gift card (optional)
- Add more products (optional)
The price and label of each gift-wrapping paper is shown below its image. Step 2 and 3 are optional, if customers select step 3 then other products will be shown on the same popup window with the following information:
- Item label
- Image
- Price
- Quantity already wrapped
- Quantity to be wrapped
- Tick to wrap
Customers can then select multiple items to be wrapped. For their convenience, you can display a gift icon on product pages, which indicates that those products support gift-wrapping. You can also limit maximum number of products per gift box.

How it Works
Once you have installed this module, login to backend where you will find the following options:
Gift Box Manager
This section allows you to add gift-wrap box designs. Click on the button, ‘Add Gift Box’, and upload the design from your PC. You can set the label and price for each design, which will be displayed on the frontend.
Configurations of Magento Gift Wrap Option Addon:
This section allows you to configure the settings of this module as below.
General Settings:
- Enable/disable the module
- Upload gift box design
- Enable gift icon on product pages
- Set max. number of items per gift box
- Calculate gift-wrap price based on number of items
Gift Cart Settings:
- Enable gift cards to be purchased
- Enable gift messages; This option only works if gift cards are enabled
Tax Settings:
- Configure the appropriate settings from the drop down such as include or exclude tax on gift-wrap.
Manage Label/Text:
- Enter the main heading for gift-wrap popup
- Define how a user can select gift wrap boxes
- Add heading/labels for different steps such as for choosing gift-boxes, gift-cards and adding multiple products in a box
